technokatabasis

Technokatabasis is my attempt at a multimedia cyberpunk/science fiction setting set in the near future. Its name comes from the Greek words "techno" (technology) and "katabasis" (often in reference to a descent into hell). The stories take place after widespread climate disaster and a massive international project to create a space station in low Earth orbit. This station is home to the lucky billion or so people who were able to secure spots on board. I have been working on this project on and off since 2018. It began as an "Amazon Megavessel" tabletop RPG campaign in which my players were aboard a massive spaceship owned by the Amazon corporation. Since then, I have scrapped the explicit references to real-world people. I have created a shorty comic that takes place in the setting as well as a homebrew TTRPG system (which is almost identical to 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons). I plan to write stories in this setting and further develop the world.
